Doucette's Resort purchased Klok's Resort in 1960. Ed and Gladys Doucette were the new owner's. Since
then Ed passed away in 1991 and Gladys passed away on January 17, 2009.Their grandson Tom Doucette is now running the resort.
The resort was started in the 1920's and Gladys mother Hazel Whalstrom was head cook for many years. The main lodge with the
central cooking is gone but the beautiful woods, lake and scenery are the same.
The lake has excellent fishing, with two inlets and one outlet. It also is spring fed. The
water is fertile, but visibility is good. The bottom consists of sand, gravel and muck. Good healthy weeds are
present, especialty in the bays on the west end, and by the inlet and outlet on the east end. Walleyes are the predominant
fish with pike and largemouth bass present. Crappie, bluegill and perch are all present. There are no musky or trout
